One of the things I was most excited about in terms of starting my own practice was starting a blog! I have always loved writing, and this allows me the opportunity to think out loud, share ideas, and challenge traditional, commonly-accepted thinking.
There's a ton of health-related information out there. Some of it is beneficial, but much of it is not. How can you tell the difference? My hope is that you will come to consider me a trustworthy resource who will only provide reliable information that will steer you in the direction of better health and wellness.
I have plenty of sources of inspiration for my blog posts—from common impairments I see in my patients, questions or comments from family members and friends, mainstream fitness advice, common health and fitness myths, or new trendy fitness tips. And when all else fails, working out at LA Fitness provides an endless source of subject matter that is worth the $30/month in and of itself.
You’ll notice that many of my posts begin with the phrase “Let’s talk about…x,y,or z”. These are common, confusing, misunderstood, or highly debated topics that I have some strong opinions about. For the most part, these blog posts are my educated opinions based on my 11+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist and what I have learned through my own workouts; however, I'll be the first to admit that I don't know everything. Let us challenge our thinking, ask questions, and learn together.
